Our History
Glory of Christ Church was founded in 1990 in Entebbe–Bugonga through Pastor Herbert Kiwanuka, beginning with just 10 members. In 1996, the church relocated to Kasubi–Kawaala in Kampala, expanding its outreach and community impact.
Between 1998 and 2001, the ministry experienced significant spiritual and numerical growth, with many conversions, new ministers ordained, and additional branches established.
From 2002 to the present, the church has continued to grow by grace, now totaling over 20,000 members across more than 100 branches, with 8,000 members at the main branch in Kasubi Kawaala. What started as a small fellowship has become a thriving and expanding church family.
